Examinations leading to recognised formal qualifications for Mainframe Technology Professionals

A range of specialist examinations that lead to formal qualifications have now been set up specifically for professionals working in IBM z Systems technical environments.

These exams and qualifications were set up at the request of some of the world’s largest users of IBM z Systems technology. They wanted a structured qualifications path for their mainframe technical personnel in order to assess their ongoing development and to determine recruitment and promotion.

GUIDE SHARE EUROPE has now taken over the governance of the Mainframe Technology Professional (MTP) exams and qualifications from the British Computer Society, with the aim of making the MTP programme available throughout Europe and beyond.
