Lyon
At the junction of the Rhône and the Saône, Lyon is the 3rd largest city in France with a population of 400,000 and more than a million more people spread across the large urban area. Lyon is the center of an industrial region. Some of the country's best restaurants are in and around Lyon.
Access: Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is located 25 km (15 miles) from the centre of Lyon. There are also frequent TGV connections from Paris and Geneva.
