GSE is proud to announce our Winners for the 2011 Academic Award for Excellence


We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2011 GSE Academic Award for Excellence programme by entering a submission. The GSE Academic Award Committee greatly enjoyed reviewing your submissions and after much thought and discussion, we are pleased to announce the Grand Prize Winner, 1st Runner Up and the 2nd Runner Up.

Grand Prize Winner
Fred Stefan
submitted a project on "Lightweight And Minimally-Invasive Concepts For Smarter Integration". He is a student at the University of Leipzig, Germany. Fred presented his winning project at the GSE Management Summit in Madrid on 10 October 2011.

1st Runner Up
Christoph Föhrdes and Fabian Gorsler
submitted a project on "DetOnBan: a Novel Approach for Detailed Online Banking and Bookkeeping". Both are students at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.

2nd Runner Up
Steffen Vaupel
submitted a project on "Software Techniques on Legacy Systems" . He is a student at the Philipps University Marburg in Germany.
